Junior Deputy

The Junior Deputy Program is a series of life-skills lessons delivered in classrooms throughout Jackson County. The program was developed in-house to specifically address issues encountered in our area. Warning Neighborhood Watch Program in Force If I Don't Call the Police My Neighbor Will Neighborhood Watch

Neighborhood Watch is a crime prevention program which enlists the active participation of citizens in co– operation with law enforcement to reduce crime in their communities. It involves meeting and working with neighbors, as well as training in basic crime prevention techniques and strategies.

  

Warning Operation ID Operation Identification

Operation Identification is a citizen’s burglary and theft prevention program for use in homes and businesses. It involves marking your property and notifying potential thieves that you have done so.

 

Citizen Police Academy

The Citizen Police Academy is a program designed to provide Jackson County residents, in an academy setting, firsthand information about how their Sheriff’s Office works.

 

National Association of School Resource Officers School Resource Officers

School Resource Officers are assigned to schools, providing educational presentations and informal counseling. They provide law enforcement duties when necessary.
